Introduction

This article is meant to assist you with viewing aging reports. Aging Reports can be used to reconcile what is listed in extendedReach and your accounting system. This is part of the optional add-on tool, for Enterprise Accounting. If you are interested in the extendedReach Enterprise Accounting tool, please contact sales@extendedreach.com.

Accessing Aging Reports

To view the Aging Reports, hover over the Financial Summaries Menu then select either "Aging: Invoices" or "Aging: Claims". 

To ensure that your aging reports are up-to-date, make sure that there are no items in the "ready to post" view. For more information on how to post and view posted reports, click here

Aging Reports - Invoices

The aging invoice reports lists the invoice totals in separate columns, helping to differentiate between the total balance, current balance, aging as of 30+ days, aging as of 60+ days, and aging as of 90+ days. This view shows all open invoices and unapplied payments.

Aging Invoice Reports Usage

You can view the aging report as of a specific date by clicking on the "Aging Report as of Date". A pop-up will then appear where you can enter the date you want to view. To view all posted balances, make sure "Show posted balances" is checked. If you do not want to include posted items, uncheck that option. 

Once you click on "Submit", a PDF of the aging report will generate.

The aging invoices view can also be grouped in multiple ways, it can be grouped by: invoice date, client name, caseworker, service date, and category. Hover over the Group By button to select one of those options.

Aging Reports - Claims

If your agency is configured with Enterprise Claims with Waystar, then you will be able to access the Aging: Claims view. If this is something your agency is interested in, please contact sales@extendedreach.com. 

The aging claims reports list the claim totals in separate columns, helping to differentiate between the total balance, current balance, aging as of 30+ days, aging as of 60+ days, and aging as of 90+ days. This view shows all open, unpaid claims. 

This view can be exported to Excel, or grouped by Payor or Client Name.
