External Signature Collection setting not available

If you are configuring an activity or a report to Collecting External Signatures and do not see the “Collect external signatures” setting available, make sure that the activity or report is configured with Web Documents and/or Custom Forms.

The “Collect external signatures” setting will not appear if there are Word documents or PDFs attached as template types. Additionally, make sure the template type is "None", "File - User Will Attach", "Text - Use Field Codes", or "Text and User Attach File".
